Forma Studio has been officially appointed by the National Infrastructure Authority to lead the architectural design and technical documentation for the Apex Transit Maintenance Facility. This marks a significant milestone in our industrial and infrastructure portfolio.
A Monument to Civil Engineering The 45,000 sqm facility will serve as the primary operations and overhaul depot for the upcoming high-speed rail network. The brief demands unprecedented scale, requiring massive column-free spans to accommodate heavy-duty gantry cranes and simultaneous six-train maintenance bays.
Technical Rigor at Scale Our proposal centers on an exposed composite steel truss system that not only resolves the intense structural loads but also acts as the defining aesthetic feature of the space. The facility will integrate natural clerestory lighting, advanced fire-life safety egress models, and highly coordinated heavy MEP systems.
