Forma Studio is honored to be the recipient of this year’s Award for Engineering Integration from the Regional Institute of Architects. The award specifically recognizes practices that demonstrate excellence in merging architectural design with complex structural and MEP engineering.

Validation of Our Philosophy Since the studio’s founding, we have operated on a single conviction: architecture is a technical discipline first. We have consistently rejected the division between "design" and "execution," arguing instead that a building is only as good as its construction documentation and structural coordination.

The Winning Project The jury highlighted our recent work on The Vertex Tower, noting specifically how the exposed structural steel pin-connections were elevated from mere engineering necessities to the primary architectural language of the commercial high-rise.
